Traveler Spotlight: Travel Vanessa B

Vanessa has taught me so much about business, but also how to create an online presence. She works with horses and has created a company that provides the best safety products for horses and their riders. Vanessa travels to places I can only dream of, I can’t wait for you to see her perspective on traveling the world.
Whatโ€™s your name and tell us a little bit about you.

Hi, my name is Vanessa and I am an entrepreneur. I have 3 great passion in my life: fashion, travels and horses. In order to match all those 3 passion I founded my company 2 years ago: SAFE RIDING, a brand of accessories for Equestrian World.

How many countries have you traveled to?

Well, must say a lot. Surely more than 20.

Whatโ€™s your favorite mode of travel? (Plane train cruise car walking etc.)

Surely Business Class air planes. Thatโ€™s the fastest and more relaxing way of travelling!

Whatโ€™s your dream travel destination?

Well, I still have plenty on my bucket list: surely Australia and Brasil.

How has traveling helped you manage a healthy mentality?

I believe that travelling is a way of changing yourself in and out. It makes you grow, makes you understand others and their culture and also helps a lot to unplug your mind.

What are some ways you use travel as a coping mechanism?

I  travel mostly for work, but once I do it for pleasure I do it mostly for knowing new cultures and to learn more about others.

How do you choose who you travel with? Does it impact your trip?

I use to travel with my fiancรจ or my parents, we love to share new experiences together and discover new places. It surely impact because travelling solo and travelling with somebody I believe increase your experience and makes you enjoy he travel more.

Do you have a favorite destination?

Surely Maldives. Thatโ€™s my place where I really unplug myself, where I recollect with my body and soul. Going there once a year from nearly 10 years.

When you travel do you make more friends than when you are at home?

Well, I am not really an expensive person, I like to stay with myself and the people who are with meโ€ฆ I do not use to make plenty of friends both at home and during travels.

How has anxiety or depression affected your travels negatively?

I have never suffered from anxiety or depression, when I travel I never use to be stressed or others, I simply enjoy the journey and embrace what happens.

Do you feel that traveling is a coping mechanism for a lot of people? Does your family or friends use traveling as an escape from reality the same way you do? Or do you feel that they travel for other reasons?

We all travel for pleasure or business, we just love to discover new places and rejoined our selves.

What’s one thing you can not travel without.

My phone, love capturing places with the camera and once I am home relive those moments.

What’s your number one travel tip for our fellow travelers out there?

Thanks for sharing Vanessa’s story. It’s awesome to hear how she founded her own company two years ago. I have a friend who does equestrian so I’ll forward the Safe Riding site to her. I love Vanessa’s travel tip on enjoying your experiences and new cultures. There is so much to learn from other cultures.
